San Jose, CA. (December 1, 2009) --- Bittel Electronics Ltd. announced today a strategic partnership with Siemens Enterprise Communications (SEN Group) to provide the next generation of IP and analog guestroom telecommunications terminals to the global hotel industry. Under the terms of the agreement, Bittel has been certified as an Advanced Technology Partner on the Siemens Enterprise Partner Program, and positions Bittel as the preferred supplier of specialized hospitality telephone terminals for use with Siemens’ range of HiPath PBX platforms.

The announcement comes swiftly after Bittel announced the launch of its next generation UNO? line of solutions, which combine a phone, clock/radio, and audio player interface in one converged device, and signifies the company’s dedication to innovation and the functional and aesthetic evolution of the guest room phone.

Major initiatives of the partner agreement will be administered by Bittel’s new European-based subsidiary Bittel Electronics EU, based in London, providing maximum levels of regional support to Siemens’ European market activities, and driving closer collaboration between the two businesses.
